To upgrade the KeyNamics solution to a newer version unless specific instructions are provided you can typically just import a newer version of the KeyNamics solution over the top of your existing KeyNamics solution within your Dynamics environment. You should first upgrade KeyNamics within your development environment and export this was a Managed solution for your UAT and Live environments.
The typical upgrade settings are shown below...
KeyNamics is distributed as a "Unmanaged" solution. This is to allow small modifications within the customers development environment (if necessary) before deploying to KeyNamics to UAT or Live.
We would only suggest using an unmanged solution within your Dev or Development environment. Upon exporting KeyNamics from your Dev environment this should be exported as a "Managed" solution for import into your UAT and / or Live Dynamics environments.
