# KeyNect Two Way Call

Users can create a call directly from the KeyNect portal without using Keyfax.

### Creating a call

1. Login to the KeyNect portal as a Customer Admin or Customer user.
2. Select “Create Call”.&#x20;

3. Complete the fields below.

&#x20;      **A:** Select “Two Way Call”.

&#x20;      **B:** Enter the “Telephone number for Mobile” of the tenant.

&#x20;      **C:** Enter the “Description to associated with the call”. This will be auto created if left blank.

&#x20;      **D:** Enter the “Recipient Name” of the tenant.

&#x20;      **E:** Enter the “Email for Mobile” for the tenant (optional).

&#x20;      **F:** The default classifier is pre-selected. Select another classifier from the list to use it.

&#x20;      **G:** Click “Create Call”.

4. Wait for the countdown timer to finish or click the button to join the call.

5. The desktop splash screen will appear.

### Joining the call

1. The mobile user will receive a text message (and/or email) addressed to the name entered on the “Create Call” screen and a URL link to join the call.

2. Clicking the URL redirects the mobile user to the mobile splash screen where they will be prompted to allow permission to their device camera, microphone and potentially their location. The user can then accept the terms and conditions and join the call.

3. The video call will start once the countdown timer has reached zero or the mobile user taps the screen.

### Call in progress

1. Upon joining the call, the video feed will be visible to both mobile and desktop user.

2. Clicking the **privacy icon** will hide/mask the video feed and display a message to the mobile and desktop user. Should the privacy button be pressed whilst recording, this wording/message will be captured in the final video recording. Clicking the Privacy icon again will display the live video feed again.

3. Click the middle blue **camera icon** to take photos. A preview will appear in the Call Resources window.

4. Click the **video camera icon** to record the call. Both the desktop and mobile user will see the “recording” notification on screen. Click the record icon to stop recording. A copy of the video will be added to the Call Resources window. The “Recording” text will disappear for the mobile user.

5. Click the photo or video from the call resources window to view it in the KeyNect portal.&#x20;

6. Click the **torch icon** to turn the mobile device torch on and off. This icon will be hidden if the device does not support this feature.
7. Click the green **mute icon** to mute the desktop call audio and again to unmute.

### Video prompts

Click a pre-set **Video Prompt** to display the text on the mobile device. Click **Hide Prompt** to hide it. Enter free text to create a custom prompt. A record of all prompts will be available in the KeyNect reporting. Prompts entered whilst recording the video feed will appear in the video recording.

### Call Notes

Enter additional notes in **Call Notes** field. These will be saved against the call record in the call resources page and within the media window, where you view the images and video files.

Notes will also be stored in the “Additional information” field in Keyfax when using KeyNect with Keyfax.

### Ending a call

Either party can end the call by clicking the red video hang-up icon. The mobile user is prompted to confirm they wish to hang up. This will return both participants to their relevant splash screen.

### Call resources

A record of the call, along with any media, call notes and data will be stored in the Call Resources tab.
